The Southern Softflow Story

Keith started Southern Softflow from home in 2000 and has built a business based on offering straightforward and honest advice, focusing on long-standing customer relationships.

In 2019 Keith was joined by his son Ben. The team has continued to grow since then, but the emphasis on personable service remains central to everyone at Southern Softflow.

In 2021 we bought a new premises in Three Legged Cross, near Wimborne. Our new unit makes it easy for customers to visit and collect salt, view our products and talk to our friendly team. Please take a look around . . . . .

Keith

Founder

The man that started it all. Many of our customers have been with us from the very beginning and are testament to his ethos for customer service. When he's not talking about or fixing water softeners, he loves spending time with his four grandchildren and following the mighty Wimborne Town FC.

Ben

Director

Ben decided to leave his finance career in London and join Keith in 2019. He now oversees the day to day running of the business. Ben has two young children so is well occupied outside of work, he loves a walk in Wareham forest with his family and dog, and if there is ever a spare moment, a game of golf.

Edith

Office Manager

Edith is a passionate member of our office team. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending her time outdoors with her husband, their 4 children and their dog. She also loves baking, gardening, sewing and knitting!

Dave

Deliveries

The friendly face of water softener salt deliveries, David never shirks at going the extra mile when delivering in a polite and friendly manner. His ever present tan is down to his love for quick get aways with his family and friends, why not!

Juliet

Sales & Marketing

After more than a decade in sales for a famous Beans and Ketchup company, Juliet decided to join another (if not smaller) company that brings joy to people's homes. Another member of the Martin family who spends the weekends on the beach or in the forest with the children and dog.

Steve

Plumber

Steve has installed water softeners for Southern Softflow for over 15 years and is a huge part of the great reviews from our customers. A fastidious attention to detail and enormous level of care means you are in great hands. A keen runner, Steve organises the famous Wimborne 10 Mile Race for Wimborne Athletic Club.

Donna

Office Administrator

Donna covers the office on Saturdays and over holidays. The quizmaster general and lifelong Black Cats supporter.

Tailored Solution & Quote

Keith or Ben will visit to assess the best option for your home, and explain how it can be installed. You will be left with a quote to consider in your own time.

Installation

Our installers will double check the plan for installation before starting work, will leave your house as we found it and walk you through the operation of your products to make sure you are happy before we leave.

Ongoing Support & Salt

The office is open 6 days a week to answer any queries or assist with salt deliveries and collections. We offer ongoing support for the lifetime of your machine.
